會議簡介

“國際全球?qū)W大會”（Global Studies Conference）是“全球研究學(xué)術(shù)社群”（Global Studies Knowledge Community）所組織舉辦的以全球化研究為核心的年度學(xué)術(shù)會議，會議組織機(jī)構(gòu)設(shè)置于美國伊利諾伊大學(xué)香檳分校。全球?qū)W大會致力于從不同視角研究人類社會的全球化進(jìn)程，邀請不同專業(yè)背景的研究者共同討論全球化背景下的地區(qū)或國際問題。

第一屆全球?qū)W大會于2008年舉辦，之后每年與不同國家的知名大學(xué)合作。2015年該會在英國倫敦帝國理工學(xué)院舉行，而2017年的會議將于6月8日-9日在國立新加坡大學(xué)舉辦。今年會議主題涵蓋與全球化進(jìn)程相關(guān)的經(jīng)濟(jì)、政治、環(huán)境、社會等各大議題，其中諸如不平等發(fā)展、增長的界限、可持續(xù)發(fā)展、城市主義等分議題與城市研究息息相關(guān)。
